A New Tradition

This year we were so excited to get a Christmas tree since we were staying in town this year. It was also our first Christmas as a family of four. 

JJ loved helping with the ornaments this year. I separated the kid safe ones out and let him touch those and the breakable ones went up top. 

We also started a new tradition! This year on a Family Night we invited a couple of families from our neighborhood and the kids and made gingerbread houses while we talked about our favorite Christmas memories, songs and chatted. It was a great way to start off our holiday season and we hope to do it again next year!
